Using interactive simulations with relevant scenarios is an innovative way for supporting leadership roles and management with the help of the latest technologies available in the market.

360 degree interactive videos allow a more realistic level of interactivity for the learner which more closely resembles real life situations.

With the advancement of technology and the decrease in cost for powerful devices that can handle 360 interactive videos and Virtual / Augmented reality, it is nowadays very easy to use technology for the enhancement of training and teaching.

The media created can be accessible not only from a computer (desktop or laptop) but also from other handheld devices such as tablets or mobile phones that either cost very little or that the user already owns.

Creation of interactive 360 videos can be done either using specialised software packages or using plugins in development platforms such as UNITY 3D for more realistic results.

Level of difficulty

Equipment needed

Computer, mobile device (tablet or smart phone), 360 video camera, software to create interactivity.

How does it work?

Create an interactive video either by reusing stock video or recording a 360 video in-house.

Create “hotspots” for introducing interactivity into the video where the user can click and enable custom events. See tools below.

Map those events to the learning outcomes so that the user can satisfy the learning requirements while completing the scenario within the 360 video.
